Glenn Sadin has been writing, recording, and performing his own original music for over 30 years, and has released records and CDs in the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. A seasoned guitarist, he has performed from Hollywood to Germany, and has shared the stage with the likes of rock’n’roll pioneer Bo Diddley, the Sun Rhythm Section (original 1950s Sun Records musicians), and garage rock legend Sky Saxon (of the Seeds).
An avid record collector and vintage hi-fi & guitar enthusiast, Glenn places great emphasis on getting every period detail correct when playing 1950s music. His on-stage gear mostly dates from no later than 1963. In order to get the proper vintage-correct tone, he only uses heavy-gauge flatwound strings on his guitars (“like they used back in the day”), and rejects using any digital signal processing, relying on just a tube-powered Fender reverb unit for tone coloration.
After being based in San Francisco for nearly two decades, Glenn is now settled in the Boston area and excited to be tearin’ it up with Billy D & the Rock-its!
