Glenn Sadin has been writing, recording, and performing his own original music for over 40 years, and has released records and CDs in the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. A seasoned guitarist, he has performed from Hollywood to Germany, and has shared the stage with the likes of rock’n’roll pioneer Bo Diddley, the Sun Rhythm Section (original 1950s Sun Records musicians), and garage rock legend Sky Saxon of the Seeds.
An avid record collector and vintage hi-fi & guitar enthusiast, Glenn places great emphasis on getting every period detail correct when playing 1950s music. His on-stage gear is mostly from the '50s and early '60s. In order to get the proper vintage-correct tone, he uses heavy-gauge pure nickel flatwound strings on his guitars (“like they used back in the day”), and avoids using digital signal processing, preferring vacuum tube amplification and analog effects.
After being based in San Francisco for nearly two decades, Glenn is now settled in the Boston area and tearin’ it up with Billy D & the Rock-its!
